Company Profile
Blue Lizard Productions is now in its 5th year of business and continues to grow. The company is managed by video producer Scott Clevely and his producing partner Angela Kafadar. Scott has over 10 years of professional film, television and media production experience.
In 1999, after working as an assistant to the director on a television series, he was accepted into the Directors’ Guild of Canada in the Assistant Director category. He continued to work on film and television sets as an Assistant Director for various production companies, most notable being Disney, Warner Brothers and Twentieth Century Fox and with stars as big as Danny DeVito, Robin Williams and Edward Norton.
In 2006, he left the film and television industry to become an independent producer and started his own production company focussed primarily on corporate video production. Clients since then have included Research in Motion, Aecon Group and Melloul-Blamey Construction to name just a few. Some examples of the diversity of his work to date include a documentary for the Canadian Chestnut Council, educational videos for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, interviews with singer and songwriter Matt Dusk, and 100′s of various other video productions.
Closer to home he has produced videos for the University of Waterloo to promote their engineering program, the City of Cambridge documenting an art installation at City Hall and a video for Early Waring to demonstrate how their product can remove pathogens from municipal water sources. Other clients include Unitron, Saint-Gobain, Sanimax, Virtek and many others.
We are active members of the business community, including the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Canadian Media Producers Association and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
Production Staff
After an initial meeting with Scott or Angela, and the completion of a signed agreement, a producer will be assigned to your project who will act as project manager. Your producer will be your primary contact throughout the entire project.
