Everyone that wants to advertise their products to definitely do this. If successful, it would attract a lot of attention, a good example is the trailer for Dead Island. It tapped into people’s emotions, and because of that it was considered to be the best video game before it even released.

I never knew that something like this existed. It’s a great idea to advertise like this, however it only specifies to people with smart-phones that have the apps to scan the blocks. I’d say if the apps for this became known to more people, it would be a great idea. Although it does attract more attention, so I would suggest to give it a shot!

I agree with this, amateurishly made videos tend to make interested consumers run out after watching it. It’s because most videos made by amateurs do not have the required elements to grab the attention of consumers, even though it may be something useful. That’s why there is professionals for this, and if you are starting out, you should hire one for your first video instead of putting it together yourself.

I completely agree with this post. A lot of commercials/ads that I’ve been seeing today are trying to get into your emotions instead of giving a reason of why you buy that product. Especially for video game trailers now.
