One film at a time, Blue Lizard Productions will focus on and produce a commercially successful Canadian independent film with an emphasis on great storytelling... a key element missing in today’s films. In 2008, Scott Clevely produced three shorts films and is currently in development on two more and also a feature film that will be produced in the next three years.
The production of these feature films will create investment opportunities for venture capitalists and other investors who are interested in investing in the Canadian independent film industry – and reaping the often huge financial and personal rewards.
In 2007, Blue Lizard's executive producer, Scott Clevely, joined a strategic alliance with Steven Ahola and David Hopkinson to create UberRiff Films and produced three short films during the summer of 2008.
In 2008, one of these films, "The Agoraphobe", produced by Scott Clevely and directed by Steven Ahola, recieved official recognition at the Grand River Film Festival in Cambridge, Ontario and was also screened at the Hamilton Film Festival in Hamilton, Ontario.
